About Corrigan's Cakes

Hello and welcome to Corrigan’s Cakes! 

I’m Sarah, and I am the baker behind Corrigan’s Cakes. I’m a home based cake maker based in Warminster, Wiltshire. 

 

I’ve always had a passion for cooking and baking, and I began creating cakes many years ago in the late 90’s, for my two children, making them cakes based on their interests. Those cakes progressed from close family, to friends and colleagues. 

 

We were posted to Wiltshire from Canterbury, Kent in 2014 with the Military, and following 16 years of working in education, 8 in mainstream, and then 8 years in Special education, I decided that I would love to have a change of career, pursue my passion for cake making, and be my own boss. 

That was 5 years ago, and I have ploughed everything into my little cake business ever since.  The passion for creating and designing beautiful cakes, really pushed me to grow my skills, and over the years, I have developed a particular love for working with fondant cakes, and also creating handmade models. 

 

Now comfortably settled here in Warminster, I have been so lucky to have gained the most amazing people, who have supported me and my cake business, returning time and again with new orders, recommendations and shoutouts.  

Running my own business has been an incredible journey so far, filled with some very long hours, continuous learning and lots of buttercream!

I’m so grateful to every person who has trusted me to create their special celebration and wedding cakes.
